The attainment of any goal, the creation of any project- requires you to utilize both your masculine and your feminine energy. Other names for the masculine and feminine include: solar and lunar, electric and magnetic or yang and yin.
It has little to do with gender; every person contains both energies within them. In most people, the distribution is not 50/50. Usually men are happier in their masculine, women in their feminine- but not always. It is situational and the balance is maintained by your ability to oscillate between these energies often and intuitively.
What is feminine energy?
Feminine energy (AKA lunar, magnetic or yin) is the energy of attraction. Feminine energy pulls from magnetic center- she does not chase, she attracts. The feminine is deeply aware, intuitive and discerning. Feminine energy in dating would be the energy of sitting back and letting the man pursue you. Knowing that you are the prize and you have an abundance of options to choose from. The feminine is the egg. Sitting pretty in the fallopian tube while thousands of sperm are desperately trying to get to the egg the fastest, then, flailing and fighting to get through the door that is the membrane. But- the egg is selectively permeable. She selects which singular sperm is allowed inside.

Feminine energy (AKA lunar, magnetic or yin) in the context of projects comes in the form of the idea itself. The divine download that pops into your head from some ambiguous source. Feminine energy is the quiet, internal pull towards that something that you desire. Feminine energy is knowing when to surrender. Knowing that even though the unfolding of events may look differently than you expected, may take longer, it is all working out exactly as it should. Surrendering to the fact that there are much greater forces at play at all times, and you are limited in your human-ness. It is through trust and surrender, that we become unlimited. Feminine energy is creative, it knows that there are a million different ways to achieve that goal and the way you will achieve it will be in your own divine style, in your own divine timing. It is time to be in your feminine when you aren’t sure of the next step you should take. Let the Universe show you the next step because, by law, it always will be revealed to you.

Masculine energy (AKA solar, electric, or yang) is the energy of pursuit. Masculine energy is the container of the feminine. If feminine is water, masculine is the river banks through which she flows. If feminine is your vision to have a big butt, masculine is the action of getting in the gym and lifting heavy. Masculine is the strategy required. Tactics. Planning and implementation. In dating, masculine is the pursuit of the other person- the effort put in to show the other person how great you are. The masculine grounds the feminine into reality. The feminine dream is made manifest by the masculine action. The feminine affirmation is made manifest by the masculine embodiment of that affirmation. It is time to be in your masculine when you know the next step you must take, but have been evading it through procrastination.
How to Use Your Masculine:
When it comes to a creative project there will be times when you must surrender and there will be times when you must effort. Know that the goal cannot be achieved without the harmony and utilization of both energies. Creativity is feminine but creation requires the feminine and the masculine. If you are an artist, it is important for you to recognize that you will not always be in the “creative mood”, but that does not mean it is not time to work. It means it is time to implement the masculine so that the creative project can see its finalization. Push through the resistance of “not being in the mood” to create. Accomplishing tasks should not be emotional. If there is something you want to accomplish, a goal you want to reach, a project you want to complete- there is divine reasoning that you should see it through - all the way to the end.
